Hazsorb is a loose particulate absorbent designed for Hazchem spills. Made from vermiculite, it has great absorption properties and is more efficient than kitty litter and zeolite products. It is effective with Class 5 and Class 8 chemicals, most acids, coolants, solvents and oil. It’s important to be aware of the properties of chemicals you are working with. Safety Data sheets are a great source of information. Vermiculite being inert, is often referred to in SDS sheets as an absorbent capable of handling aggressive liquids. 
To clean up a spill, simply cover the spill with Hazsorb absorbent and agitate with a stiff broom. Use sufficient product until the mix is dry in appearance. Remove the used absorbent and dispose of in accordance with local government regulations.
